Cordovan is an equine leather made from the fibrous flat hide on the rump of the horse. It's a leather difficult to produce, with breathtaking aesthetic qualities and a highly-coveted durability. 

A non-creasing leather, it is smooth and lacks the pebbled effect of leather derived from animal skin due to it's manufacturing process & unique leather type.
