In 1996, Atelier Penelope all started in a single apartment room in Tokyo, Japan. The name “atelier” came from an atelier in Nakameguro, where the designer himself sewed the first bag ever designed by the brand. By infusing original colour variations into carefully selected materials, Atelier Penelope showcases a simple yet unique view of the world not bound by trends. Atelier is proud to use original domestic materials such as high quality canvas while developing both seasonal and standard items.
