It features lay-flat binding and a weekly horizontal format. Each week gets a two-page spread from January 1, 2024 through January 5, 2025. The days of the week are divided into horizontal rows on the left page, and the right page is blank for additional notes. It features a two-page yearly calendar for 2024.
The notebook is bound with red thread in homage to the Roterfaden name, which means "red thread" in German. It contains 128 pages of smooth, fountain pen friendly 80 gsm paper.
